On 15th & 16th December 2016 ICT-INEX Consortium met in Warsaw-based ITS premises for a kick-off meeting. During the two-days meeting Project Partners discussed the details of particular Intellectual Outputs, especially concerning their outcomes, dissemination strategies and administrative issues. Additionally, Grupa CARGO led a dedicated workshop aiming at providing the understanding and the implementation of Design Thinking methodology in all the tasks related with the Project's Intellectual Outputs. The meeting resulted in dividing the task responsibilites between the Partners and assigning the work schedule until the 2nd Consortium Meeting which will be held in Vienna on 17th-18th May 2017.
Partners noticed that virtually no research was made in Project's area of interest so far - taking into account both the analysis of educational efficiency of novel ICT tools, as well as testing the consistency of ICT-based professional driver training which blends several of these tools. Therefore, the Consortium is enthusiastic about becoming 'pioneers' in this area and possibly contributing to the state-of-the-art in this area.
